I truly despise Selco and there outrageous price to performance internet service when compared to their competitors (Verizon Fios, Spectrum, AT&T, Google Fiber, and literally every other internet provider). With they monopolizing the market in Shrewsbury forcing everyone to buy into this frankly subpar/cheap provider

eh - I am not a fan of highly-priced and low bandwidth internet service... and this is especially bad becuase they allow for NO OTHER COMPANYS TO COMPETE in Shrewsbury. granted, all isp's are pretty bad around here, but if a town is going to "control and run its own isp" I would hope they would put their own people first.

Mr. Perez spent more time than even necessary to help me hook up my new router after changing over to fiber optics. I recently moved to town, and after coming to do a survey, I specifically requested him to return. He was awesome!!!! He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. He did not make me feel rushed, or even gave a hint of feeling inconvenienced for the extended time it took. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience as I had with a technician, as I did with Mr. Perez!

Best cable and internet provider ever. If the cable goes out, they fix it immediately. There's rarely a problem with the internet, and you actually get the down/up speeds you pay for, unlike other ISPs. That's on top of the fact that their prices for the down/up speeds are better than anywhere else. Of course it's because it's run by the town, and not the corporations that helped bully the removal of net neutrality. I read people claiming it's more expensive and less reliable than others in the state. I challenge you to prove it. I've done the research, and the big companies like Verizon, Comcast, Charter, and Cox are infinitely worse. Is it 100% uptime? No, but it's much better than across the lake, in Worcester. ...and every town in the country has a single provider. The big aforementioned companies have seen to that.
