If you need a repair, bring it to Nisar at SmartFix! The location is covenant to Shrewsbury, Worcester and Westboro, right on rt 9. Service was courteous and on time. No false promises here. Job was completed exactly as discussed, which I cannot say for other repair services. Price was reasonable, less than the the corporate businesses. Broken tech is stressful. SmartFix makes it better.Thank you Nisar. Go to this place!

Questions & Answers

Do you re apply thermal paste on old macbooks ?

I have had this place do a few screen and battery replacements on different Apple devices. I am sure he can re apply thermal paste for you since when I have been there I have seen various Apple products apart for repair, so re applying thermal paste should be easy for him.

Can you update an IBook G4?

Depending on what you mean for 'update' I am sure he can do it. If you are looking to add memory, change the hard drive to an SSD; I think that would be easy for him since when I am there I have seen a number of laptops apart for repair. I would call first and describe what you are looking to upgrade to make sure he has the part in stock or see if it would be ok for you to provide. If you are looking to upgrade the CPU that would be harder and might not be worth it; also depending on what CPU you already have installed it might be as high as the laptop can go.
