I am a Vietnamese student attending a college in Boston. I would like to apply for a visit/transit visa in HongKong a few days when I travel back to my home country. (USA -> Hong Kong -> VietNam). Am I able to have a visit/transit visa in Hong Kong?

Sorry that we are not able to process Hong Kong Visa if you are holding Vietnam passport. You have to get the visa in person from Chinese Consulate. Hope this help!

You go there with your passport and fill out paperwork beforehand. They then will take the passport and paperwork to the Chinese consulate in NY to get your visa approved. Feti makes it a painless process and they are very helpful. My friends and I used them when we got our Chinese visas.
