Hi Teresa, Thank you for your inquiry. We develop and manage affordable, permanent supportive housing for people struggling with mental illness, addiction or a history of chronic homelessness. While there are certainly seniors living in many of our properties, we do not have any properties designated for seniors only.
Um pretty much so if you stop in to speak with someone at their office I'm sure someone could assist you
Michelle it is a frustrating process at times you just have to continue to be consistent in checking up on an application if you put one in if not get an application in talk to the people at the helpdesk ask to speak with a supervisor when you go in to see a 10 I went through the homeless shelter and got hooked up with entities that help me get my own place I was homeless for 4 months when I got back here from Georgia they will help you it gets frustrating but they will help you I'm praying for your situation for you and your two girls that God bless you through so that you will have your own home for you and your young ladies grow up in
Hi David, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have immediate or emergency housing available, but you are welcome to call our office at (614) 487-6700 for the most current information about open or upcoming waitlist applications. Rentful614 (https://www.rentful614.com/) offers rental assistance resources for Franklin County that may be helpful in identifying more immediately available housing and assistance. You may find additional helpful resources on our Community Resources page (https://chninc.org/applicants/community-resources.html).
Thank you for reaching out. Our Housing Facilitation department will best be able to answer questions regarding your individual application and options available at this time. Please call our office at (614) 487-6700 and ask to be connected with the Housing Facilitation Team Lead to review your application.
Yes. I would recommend getting in contact with a community mental health agency for case management services and they can then help you complete the housing application needed.
Yes, but many of their properties are dangerous.
Yes
Hi Vernice, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have immediate or emergency housing available. At this time, there are two routes to obtaining housing with CHN. We receive referrals from the Community Shelter Board for people who are in a homeless shelter or living on the streets. Individuals entering a homeless shelter may be assigned a navigator to assist with obtaining housing. The other route is by way of referral from a case manager from a Franklin County Alcohol Drug and Mental Health Board (ADAMH) funded community mental health center. A list of eligible providers is available here: https://adamhfranklin.org/providers/ Starting July 6, 2021 we will be able to accept applications for a separate waitlist for a limited time. Applications will be available at our office located at 1680 Watermark Drive. Columbus, OH 43215
Hi Lady Bug, I apologize for the delayed response. At this time, there are two routes to obtaining housing with CHN. We are unable to mail mail or email application forms, but starting July 6 applications will be available at our office on Watermark Drive. If you are not able to stay to complete an application, you are welcome to pick one up and return via mail or in our secured dropbox located outside the front door.
Call them or set up a appointment
I waited 7 to 8 years
I work in the maintenance department, I know that some of the residents do have pets in there apartments, I do not know what the requirements are. You should contact them directly and inquire that way.
You can have a service dog or an emotional support animal. You will need a letter from your doctor.
I don't know. HUD DOESN'T allow sex offenders, that I do know, or at least it used to be a policy. I'd call over to CHN. I know some crimal offenses are allowed.
Yes to all of it, as far as I know. There's always a wait list, section 8 accepting... mix income buildings. Some old some new
Yes they are. Accepts section. 8. Buildings are mixed income.
Ohhh... long time. Get on waiting list... the dude who moved in here, was waiting 5 yrs he said.
It depends... bc if you had section 8, and lost it due to eviction, as I understand it, you won't be ever eligible ever again for sec 8. But CHN is mixed income, so you might be able to rent from them... I'd call and check. Policies change, so keep calling.
The route that I took I went through the homeless shelter about 120 Day program in through that way was how I got help through Community Housing Network
Go through the women shelter here in Columbus Ohio they should be able to put you on the right track with getting somewhere to stay and getting into your own apartment
