So disappointed when I called for a site and they said, no longer offering tent sites, really. So us people who believe true camping is in a tent, or us people that can't afford to purchase an RV are no good for you anymore, yet we have camped for many years in our tent at your campgrounds, without Any issues. Sorry but I know I'm not the only real camper that is so upset over these changes. So much for letting our little ones enjoy camping, we loved Ellis Haven, only place we have camped for years, and now you have ruined that for us. Guess we will find somewhere else that appreciates us tenters, still

Mostly seasonal sites, many looked like junk yards. Extra charge for shower use and charge to use WiFi. The swimming lake was nice. Not likely to return.

This is a great campground for families. There are kids everywhere, plenty of activities, a nice pond to swim and the vibe is really laid back and cool. This place is mostly seasonal and sites are only for RV/trailers, not tent camping. If you are looking for a quiet, adult campground with fancy 5th wheel trailers everywhere, this may not be your cup of tea, but if you want to let loose with the kids, meet some great people, and have some fun in a unique environment, this is the spot. Lots of pickup trucks , American flags, and down to earth family people. It's like going back in time to when everyone knew their neighbors, loved their country, and worked their butts off to get what they want in life.

@Leslie Millerick... Millerick is my mother's maiden name and her and all of her siblings and mother have sites in Ellis Haven... Not a common name but there are many of us here! Oh and there are several dumpster sites throughout the camp and a dumping station for RV's as well.
Yes, Ellis Haven is very tent friendly, there you will find specific areas that are designted for tents, or you can set up shop near pop up campers.
yes, motorcycles are allowed. the speed limit is 5 mph though.
Yes it is. We cant wait until May 1st
It all depends when and how long you stay. The prices are online, at their website.
They do not have tent sites at this campground.
Yes
Not this year, pop up trailers and tow behinds are all that is being allowed.
No
I don't believe so
Yes you can bring an RV and it opens may 1st and closes Columbus day weekend
I believe Harley Smith is right. If not, it might say on their website. And if not there than I'm sure you could call them and find out. Soo worth it! That's for sure!
Not a clue..call them sorry
I know it wAs ten a day but I dont think they can spend night .pretty sure they would heve to rent a site
They did this to us as well when we had a guest. It is because they are charging you for two days (the day you come regardless of the time, and the next day). Our guest didn't come in until after 9pm which was even more frustrating. And its $10 per person 5 and up.
