I absolutely love this place! It is great for fishing and swimming. The water is so clean and refreshing. There is plenty of parking, and the kids at the gate are very pleasant and informative. During the week, parking is $20 for the day. But it is totally worth it. Come early and make a whole day out of it. It is very family and dog friendly. I highly recommend Morton Park.

It's not really bad they've tightened up on things in area and the residents always seem to be relatively quiet and nice people alot of the people who go there are nice that I've experienced i go for walks there usually i grew up around here went there as a child to i got close up pictures of the swans i enjoy scenic places doesnt have to be fancy just like the peace well i hope this helps god bless and enjoy your day
You can leave at 6 am and you don't have to walk at all, the lake and the park are close and you have to pay for parking today I charge $25
Yes it is
Not sure. I've seen people detecting but have also seen one cop kick someone out for using a metal detector. Your best bet would be to ask the police who patrol the park or go after 5p.m. when they stop charging people to enter.
Billington sea - yes. Little pond no during the season. Kayaks and small boats with electric motors before and after the season. Season is memorial day till labor day. No gas motors.
No
Park police clear park at 5pm on weekends. The park commission should be ashamed or maybe they are enjoying the solitude of morton park with the plymouth police that turned us away! Should be open until dusk 7 days a week
Good spot for pups that swim. There's lots of spots for them to jump in around the ponds.
Small tank propane only. No charcoal, no large tank propane. Also, the grills cannot be on the tables, ground only.
I haven't seen crayfish. There's bass, pickeral, sunfish and trout
Kayaks are fine. Just during guarded season areas are restricted.
