Friendly staff, but way overpriced. I was looking for a cheap surf casting spinning combo. All they sell is expensive rods starting at 100 bucks. And expensive reels. Go to ralphs bait and tackle in Island park. Great prices. I picked up a cheap surf combo. 47 dollars for the rod, reel, and line. Bay park fishing station is for people who have money to burn. People come here with their 50,000 dollar boats and buy hundreds of dollars worth of equipment. You don't need expensive tackle to catch fish. The fish don't care what equipment you are using. I knew a guy years ago who bought a 30 dollar spinning combo from walmart and used it for 10 years catching fluke without a single problem.
