It had trash everywhere swings were broken and so we're some of the slides I would not recommend this park any more

There was a tennis court in Crandall Park until the late 70s that was changed to a basketball court, but a racist coward poured oil on the court in the middle of the night to keep young African American males from playing. Later there were complaints by neighbors of loud foul language during games. Now the gated area is overgrown and unused. I would love to see it as a respectfully used tennis/basketball court again.
