So I was an employee at the shelter. There is no structure and the people in charge do not care. I thought the program refrained from drugs and alcohol but if u go there at the right time all u see is people at the shelter doing both. To add insult to injury they fired me and im the only one besides my fellow house keepers that tried to help. People stay at the shelter that are not suppose to. No rules are followed and staff talk down to u and are very disrespectful. Oh So the Father Young Program thinks they can fire me when I was disrespected by there supervisor Mrs. Shama and they think they not gonna pay me my last check too oh its ON THEY DONT KNOW HOW KNOWLEDGEABLE I AM BUT THEY WILL

In the last few weeks the rooms are as good as they've ever been. You should go anywhere else. This is literally a homeless shelter, not an exaggeration.
Recently stayed 1 night here and my family and I where scared it was so dirty!! Also no blankets/ pillows etc. they also feel they are obligated to do nightly room checks on you !! Twice a night ! That’s scary ! We stayed 1 night and will NEVER return. The only way you could possibly ever stay here is if you 0 standard for what your living space should look like . To add when I checked in the woman at the front desk was like great I just cleaned the room! I knew what I was walking into so I brought bleach and 409 we literally stayed 10 hours . Slept showered and left . Then random room checks like a prison ? Responsible people can become homeless in a day due to a natural disaster.
