The nurses and doctors were great. The only problem I had was the discharge process. It took the whole Saturday. I knew from the day before that he was being discharged, the doctors said he was good to go. I was there at 9:00 am we did not leave the hospital till just after 5:00 pm

Nice staff don’t get me wrong but for a hospital you need more than that. Advice to anyone, no matter what it is prepare to wait long and I mean really long on any step.Sadly I’ve had two emergencies in the last 3 months that has ended me up in this one hospital and would rather go the extra distance for something better. I had a high temp and high heart rate, sat in waiting for 3(which I expected)but then it became ridiculous. After waiting 3 hrs I got into an ER bed then after 3hrs I was told I’m being admitted. Took 24hrs to get me from the ER to and actual room and most of us know how uncomfortable those stretcher beds are. Finally got into a room then was told i have to get consults and they came but no one ever came to follow up on what’s happening. Don’t ask the nurses, their favorite answer is “I don’t know.” Didn’t mean to get mad but seemed to be the only way I got a straight updated answer. Now I’m on my last straw. I need a new IV and it’s 2 going on 3 hours now and no one can find someone to do it. A WHOLE HOSPITAL and it’s taking hours to have someone start an IV. Unless an ambulance absolutely has to bring you here please go somewhere else it’s not worth it.

Yes. They have a lot in front of hospital. It is usually full. Behind hospital is parking garage. You will have better luck parking there.
The main entrance faces 436 and there is a drop off with a few disabled parking as well as regular for your convenience.
There is no such thing as an appointment in the emergency room. It is on a first come first serve basis. Also another factor is how severe your emergency is determined to be. Severe emergencies are seen first. You should always be prepared to wait.
If the dog is certified as a. Service animal and be prepared to provide papers to prove it.
