One of the best filet mignon’s we have ever had and we have been to a lot of fine steakhouses. Everything was delicious and high quality from the fresh bread and butter, to the house salad with blue cheese dressing to the incredible mushrooms and mash potatoes. Wow is all I can say. Incredible old school ambiance. Definitely the best steakhouse in Orlando. We will be going back!

This is an old style restaurant that seems to cater to the elderly. At the price point, food must be flavorful and the menu should reflect quality dishes. This place is an old school steakhouse, and the menu reflects that. The service is excellent and the staff is very attentive. However, for the price of your meal, you can have a better dining experience at a more contemporary restaurant.

Well on par with fine dining establishments

Went here Friday 8/20…. Been many times & every time it is fantastic! The food, the service, the ambiance. My husband got the beef Wellington & I got the petite filet along with baked potato & broccoli (shared). The pace of the meal was perfect. Husband got the creme brûlée for dessert which he enjoyed but they serve it cold and isn’t my favorite. I would love sometime to get a tour of the place bc every time we’ve gone we’ve been in a different dining room. Seems like one big maze

Its a la carte, so for $35-50 , you get a steak. Sides are extra. Two people will spend $150 for a meal, more or less. But the food is exquisite, the ambiance low key and comfortable, only place i would choose for a great experience and meal.
Could be it is an old building lots of steaks been served there. I nor anyone in my group mentioned musty smell.
Business casual
Hilton Garden Inn is new and probably the closest. However, the Alfond is in the heart of Winter Park, also pretty close, and very nice.
Wear masks, tables spaced, cleared and wiped down pretty quick. Atmosphere, service welcoming and people very friendly. Food is excellent, portions are more than enough for the price. Thanks everyone!
The restaurant is open 5-10 p.m Monday through Saturday. See you soon.
Lone star doesn't serve PRIME, AGED, HAND CUT STEAKS. AND Christners ages the steak in house, they aren't buying pre-aged steak. Lonestar uses choice and choice +. Huge difference.
Business casual would be the norm, but fancy and casual is fine as well
