A Hidde GEM that is not so hidden. Tony the owner is very passionate about the arts. From food to drinks to the art hanging on the wall and the music that is played he puts thought into it all. This Farm to table restaurant is a fusion of foods. Every flavor, spice and sauce is there for a reason. From the start of the meal to the dessert you could not go wrong with anything on this seasonal changing menu. 12/10 hands down recommend. Don't forget to make a reservation so they know you are coming.

This is a gem for the location. Fantastic beer selection with employees who are truly passionate about what they are serving. Food is far more elevated than anything else you can find in Elizabethtown. Everything is made in-house and you can taste it! The enviorment is relaxed and easy-going.

My wife's and my favorite restaurant to go to. Food is fresh and locally sourced and prepared amazingly. Drinks are always top notch and the staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet. If you're in Elizabethtown you have to stop by.

I live in Maine and every time I'm in Pennsylvania, I try to eat at least one meal at The Black Gryphon. If that wasn't praise enough, I'll elaborate. Their menu is curated around 2 major philosophies - high quality local ingredients as often as they can be found (thank you Breakaway Farms!) and skillful execution transforming those ingredients into dishes that will have you coming back every chance you can. Then, there are the cocktails.... There are so many bitters, infusions, compounds and combinations all lined up neatly around the bar, I felt like I stumbled into an apothecary's shop! If you're fortunate enough to be there on a night when Dave is tending bar, you will be treated like you've been a long time regular, even if it's your first visit. He will introduce himself, ask your name and remember it like you were an old friend. He made me the most delicious Manhattan I've ever tasted and I don't even like Manhattans! I could go on and on, but I'll leave you with this - if you live near or far, go, to, The Black Gryphon! You're welcome.

While The Black Gryphon welcomes people of all stripes, it would not fit the definition of a gay bar.
Limited capacity, reservation only, socially distant tables, masks for staff. Excellent food and service!
