I called Sears appliance to repair my hybrid hot water heater which they had on warranty records, waited three weeks for the appointment, met the tech who advised against repairing ("too expensive"), but when I decided for it and ordered the free parts under warranty (worth $700), waited three more weeks for the appointment only to have it cancelled! Now Sears tells me that they can't service the unit at all, and I can't talk to the original tech, who seemed to know the unit and the job. Sears told me they could fix it for two months and now suddenly say they can't and won't explain what changed. Frustrating waste of time!

I had 3 wrong parts ordered before getting the correct ones, delaying repair for weeks. When I got the right parts the tech showed up and left without so much as a knock, delaying repair and costing me time at work. When I called they told me there was nothing they could do because he may be done (literally 5 minutes after I saw him drive away) piss poor customer service and technicians who obviously are just punching a time card.

The service team was all good, no issues. The issue is the appliances themselves. We purchased Kenmore Elite - supposedly the best Sears can offer - less than 5 years ago. The compressor failed in the refrigerator and the drive failed in the washing machine a week apart. While some of the parts were still under warrantee - each repair cost almost $500. Again, the service staff was fine, but we will not purchase anything from the Kenmore line again.

Upset about the service mans attitude. 400 dollars t replace an ice maker. Didn't let us know that coupons were available for parts and labor. Called customer resolution to Express my case and was told nothing could be done for me
