I purchased some swimwear at this H&M location, and decided to returned them. I visited the store to return the items within 5 days from the day I made the purchase. However, the girl at the register and the manager were super rude. As soon as she saw me she told the girl at the register not to take the items back. They didn’t want to take the items back even though I was following the return policy. Every item had a tag attached, I had a receipt , and every bottom had the hygiene seal. Also, the return was within the 30 days return policy. So, the manager didn’t want to take my return just because she didn’t want to. Even the guy who I spoke with for customer service on the phone, told me to go to another location and return the items because the manager at this location didn’t want to proceed with the return. He told me the manager at this location it was just being impossible. I visited another H&M location and the return was done right away without any conflicts. If my items were not returnable like she said then why I got it done at another location without any problems. The manager at this locations sucks, and she does not have any clue about customer service. She is very Incompetent and not capable of holding the position as a manager. Customer service here is horrible DON’T SHOP AT THIS LOCATION (H&M WHITE PlAINS)

Quiet store. To reply to review about downstairs being gated...it is to stop the rampant theft that has been occuring. Many stores, not just in the mall, have implemented choke points, delayed automatic doors etc to deter people from running in, grabbing and running out. Be mad at the people that chose to steal, not the store.
