I arrived too late to save my little rescue parakeet (a rescued one found on the ground in my neighborhood trying to hide in a bush). He was affected by unknown causes but this animal hospital helped me as soon as they could. No appointment though protection was taken once arrived considering the COVID-19 crisis (and I was wearing a mask). While waiting outside I observed how careful the staff was to manage the influx and outflow of all kind of patients; it was touching to see that while others could find a valid excuse not to come to work during these difficult times, the staff at this location actually cares to continue serving the community. The veterinarian and staff were gracious to accommodate me even though it was merely a confirmation of my worst fears. They even gave me the choice to take back my baby parakeet girl so I can bury her in my back yard. I have no words to thank you for your humanity in this time of grief. Every little soul that comes into our life may depend on our wallet. This animal hospital made me not have to worry about the potential cost of a major intervention though I would have paid my entire paycheck to save my chirping pet; her low energy and sleeping on the bottom of the cage should have giving me enough warnings that something is not right. Thank you, I highly recommend you to anyone who shares his life with pets! In memoriam, Sammy.

Update 8/9/22: I don't know what the issues are, but they have become way over-priced, the staff is pathetically insincere and good luck getting any records! This used to be our go-to for any vet-related issues. SAD!! The doctors and staff are always so warm and genuinely caring! We love our GBVH family.❤

I am the Technician Manager of the Glen Burnie Animal Hospital. In response to your question, we do take walk ins. However, the wait may be long do to the already scheduled appointments. If your pet is in an emergency situation we will take your pet immediately.
No only dogs and cats but vca calvert veterinary center in Pasadena MD accepts all types of pets
They are a very expensive vet though IME. We won't be going back. Try giving Everhart's in Pasadena a call. They have a very extensive practice.
Runs about $75 give or take. Office exam and $30 for shots. Somewhere in that general vicinity. Wish I could help you more, pretty good place to take your cat. If that's just too much check with the dumb Friends league. Might be a little less money?
Yes we do by appointment only. Please call

I paid around 700. That was to have Dr Shaw come to my house to do it. Also to cremate and get the ashes back.
When I had ferrets, I took them there. They are good with exotic animals but always call and check before hand. The staff is very friendly and amazing.
You can go to the ASPCA. They offer basic services at low rates.
Take your pet to ASPCA. They will do it for 50 bucks. Vets tend to charge more.
As a cat owner, I dont recommend declawing as it's like having a body part amputated. It actually does more harm than good for the cat. But if you decide to then best suggestion is to call for pricing.
