This is great place to ride bikes and not have to worry about on coming car traffic. The right is scenic and peaceful.

Always a great workout! I feel so accomplished every time I finish the trail. Great for biking. Very scenic. Challenging for a variety of skill levels--have done the trail twice without breaking for 20 miles. Done the trail going in the opposite direction for a different feel since it is circular. The first time i did the trail, there were several spots to stop off and take a break if needed. Today 9-17-22 was the first time I've come and had to circle multiple times to find parking. We were there around 930 am on a Saturday. I will avoid this time frame in the future to avoid the crowd.

I THINK THE ONLY TRANSPORTATION THAT CAN'T IS GASOLINE / DIESEL POWERED VEHICLES. I'VE SEEN A LOT OF ELECTRIC POWERED BICYCLES 🚲 EXCEPT FOR THE RANGERS CHECKING THE TRAILS + THE LAWN PERSONAL MOWERS TO KEEP THE TRAILS LOOKING GORGEOUS ! IT SHOULD LIKE THE B & A TRAIL , WB & A TRAIL / ODENTON / 5+ MILES ONE WAY , VERY NICE TRAIL , EVENTUALLY THEY ARE ALL TO CONNECT TO EACH OTHER ! STOP BY A A.A.CO.RANGER STATION I THINK THEY HAVE MAPS FOR ALL THE TRAILS & INFORMATION TO HELP WITH ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ! GO TO RAILS TO TRAILS APP WILL TELL / SHOW YOU EACH STATES RAILS TO TRAILS NETWORK . WESTERN MARYLAND RAILS TO TRAIL IS AWESOME IN THE FALL THE LEAVES CHANGING COLORS ! PARK BY FORT FREDRICK & HEAD TO HANCOCK MARYLAND, 22 MILES ONE WAY , SLIGHTLY UP HILL , GRADE , BUT DOWN HILL ON THE WAY BACK TO YOUR VEHICLE. PLACES TO EAT . THERE ARE MAPS . GO TO THEIR WEBSITES . THE GREATER ALLEGHENY HIKER BIKER TRAIL FROM WASHINGTON DC TO PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA / 150 MILES ENJOY
