I did not use this boat ramp, but I stayed at the Campground here. I saw lots of canoes and kayaks. Some small motorized boats, as well. I wouldn't say that part of Peace River is meant for large boats though. If you tent camp or dry camp, this is a great place to camp and canoe. Restrooms with showers available. $15 a night

You could, when we were there couple weeks ago the river is very low our troop was canoeing and quite a bit of the ways had to get out and walk the canoes because the water was so shallow. That was the area from Pioneer Park to Gardiner ramp by 18 Mile River stretch. There are people who are there boats and saw a couple of good news that 13 to 16 ft but they had the mud motors on the back with extended props. Their areas of the river where it's less than you deep. Now maybe if the rains come and the water level rises should be no problem. But talk to the locals before you throw in about water levels
