Buy your next Land Rover from Gm Steven Bell and Columbia Land Rover ! I brought a 22 defender last year with the old ownership and I had a bad experience and I was contacted recently by the new Gm (Mr. Bell) personally and he treated me like I was family instead of a deal packet! He personally greeted me at the dealership at the FRONT door step and fixed the problem immediately! It was the BEST customer service I ever received in my life !!!! He went above and beyond to make sure ALL of my needs were met and personally walked me in to the service drive and even drove me to my destination HIMSELF! While my vehicle was in service! He even sat me down and took time out of his day to ask me about me past experience and apologized again for the past experience I had ! I highly recommend you come and buy your next land rover here. Update : This review is for Auto Nation which is the previous ownership of this dealership. It has come to my attention that there are new owners after this sale had occurred therefore this review is for the previous Auto Nation franchise . This post is a couple of months late unfortunately because I was contemplating posting it or not but I feel that my and my wife’s experience needs to be made public and other customers to be made aware of some deceiving practices made at this location in the sales department. We purchased a pre-owned vehicle and drove to this location to pick it up from out of state to save a good bit of money . We were only about 300 miles away so it wasn’t that bad but saved close to $2000 in shipping costs . Upon arriving we didn’t have too much time to completely inspect the vehicle but did take it for a test ride and the vehicle did have a clean car fax… It was and is a nice luxury vehicle , Lexus RX 450HL hybrid . Moving on , we completed the sale and we departed as we were on a tight schedule. After departing and arriving home we noticed quite a few exterior imperfections and took the car to a top local collision specialist in Florida. They told us the vehicle had been in an accident but unfortunately it was not reported to car fax and the sales man didn’t tell us . He only pointed out a couple of small dings diverging us from the other imperfections that would cost a lot more to fix . Needless to say I had to fix the issues and it cost me more than $2000 to fix the cosmetic imperfections on a luxury vehicle, pretty much what I saved on the transportation costs… Point is , I confronted the sales person and he denied knowing the car was in an accident to which I am hesitant to believe being a professional in this business… Caveat emptor , buyer beware at this location… Other than that the SUV drives great and has had all the proper maintenance according to the car fax so we shall see . Only reason I gave 1 star is because the car does drive nice as it should but the sales experience left me with a bad taste … Normally I prefer buying from direct owners rather than dealers but this model is very sought after and not many available on the market so that’s how we wound up here …. Horrible customer service! This dealership had my car for five months and it’s still there. Every time I call I can’t never get anybody on the phone and they don’t call you back. Once I get my car back I will never take it back there.
