Due to tight work schedules, raced down to unload and was turned away at the gate. Would have taken 5 minutes to dump. Closing should be extended or at least AFTER you close the gate!

I would think so, they have a dumpster on the hill for lumber and another dumpster that takes couches, cabinets, large plastic items so I would believe they would take old carpeting. You can always call them to make sure.
We are on vacation and want to recycle. Can we drop off recycles here?

Yes, if you are a homeowner, you get ten yards of land waste a year. If not a landowner, I'm not certain, but you would have to pay if they do.
