Park with a few different sections with various things to do. A small playground for the kids. An open field where concerts are held. A couple beach areas with volleyball and sailboats. The 1 mile loop around the lake and through the preserve is a nice walk. It seems like there have watersport event on the lake as there are spectator seats on the sides of the lake. The signs also say there’s a ski area - I haven’t figure out what that means. It may be water skiing.

Lake Avalon is 40 feet at it's deepest point, it's 1.6 miles around the lake on the paved walk, alligators are removed from the lake, but that doesn't mean new Gators will not go in, so swimming is at your risk
Yep. You'll need a fresh water license unless your an old guy like me. Don't need licenses if youre over 65 in Florida
Yes dogs are permitted on leash. Lots around. And there are pick up bags provided.
Very well kept property, friendly some of the finest facilities available while camping. You couldn't help but not love it. locations perfect for diverse activities in either direction.
Yes it would be, but like Kevin said make sure you check with the park guidelines and reservations. This is a beautiful park, I would recommend it to anyone.
I belive only the facility workers, they do have jetski races and enjoyment boating but only for in house events not for public. You can walk the lake and fish from land.

You need a fishing license to fish anywhere in Collier county, salt and fresh water are separate lisences, the only time you don't need one is if you are on a chartered fishing boat
