Thx to them I have a home with my son .. it's a gift to have Section 8 .. I am so appreciated and so thankful for everything they have done for my son and I. My son and I lost her home of nine and a half years we became homeless for 7 months we had received the voucher before we lost our apartment but there was no apartments available so it became a very hard thing to find. We had been got in with a young lady who helped us get into a hotel and she also helped me look for apartments until she found one for us and I also want to give a special thank you too a young lady named Nicole H . Thank you ma'am for helping people like me get into places again..

They definitely need too hire new staff who answers phones. Definitely rude and seemed bothered just by asking questions, when u see bad reviews hell ya I will ask all the questions I want before relocating…. Definitely look into the staff that are currently working in the office. Rude customers service skills. Honestly if we could help it we wouldn’t even been looking into housing… so I would hope this company step up and hires new staff and friendly staff that love too answer questions, without being rude. And slamming the phone when they hang up. This definitely needs too be brought attention too the board of housing authority!! No need for Karen’s working for housing authority who think they’re better then the community…..

How about as WPB Housing employees don't judge people who are on disability. Don't judge what you don't understand. Some illnesses are not visible and you have no idea what illnesses, physical or mental, that person is dealing with. So shame on the lady who judged me today and tried to make me feel bad. She was being shady but I heard exactly what she said. You literally deal with single parents, the disabled and elderly daily. It's sad that the ones whose job it is to help you are the same ones who are insensitive and judgemental. Please do better. I will give a better rating if I have better experiences with WPBHA.

These are questions to the public, I don't know if you'll get an answer from the housing authority here. Probably better to call or email them.
Call and email your case worker. With photos if you have them. State your case and inquire directly with them what are your options. You may have to call multiple times. Leave multiple voice mail. They are backed up but they do respond. Make sure you have told your apt mgr the problem, in writing if necessary so they can respond in writing so you can have it for your own record. Make sure your rent is current or in process so that will not be an excuse as to why the items are still not in repair. Good luck!

Most of the time it is hit or miss. I just called and had to leave a message. If you have a caseworker you can hit pound and use the directory to leave a message.
