Would be nice if they picked up so i knew the donation hours. And would be nice if they actually took food when i brought it to them. But i brought it outside donation hours and did not want to take them even though the warehouse and office was open. So had to dump the food. What a waste.

Thank you 😊

This neighborhood has some of the most privileged white liberals in the country. What’s hilarious is that they claim to be liberals and the gentrification in this area has ensured that only white liberals can afford or want to live here lol.

AFAC provides free groceries to Arlington residents. You can read more about receiving our services here: https://afac.org/getfood/ If you live outside of Arlington, we have a list of other food agencies that can help you based on where you live. This page also has a listing of non-food resources: https://afac.org/getfood/ If you have further questions, please call our Director of Client Services, Lily Duran, at 571-384-1440.
Yes, great place to volunteer. I love it and it offers so many opportunities and ways to help people and the community
People can pick up for 2 people if both qualify. That way you can get a friend or neighbor or family member to pick up your food and bring it to you. Hope this helps.
Buenos días tiene que vivir en Arlington tener una dirección donde usted vive quien le puede ayudar es David el trabaja en el seec
Brenda, as long as the baby food/formula is not opened or not expired, we will take them as donations. Thanks!
Hi Don, we'd be happy to accept reusable grocery shopping bags. We encourage returning clients to bring their own reusable bags when picking up groceries and we like to have some extra reusable bags on hand for first time clients who may not bring enough. They can be dropped off where we accept food donations. Thanks!
Bob, yes AFAC accepts nonperishable food donations, as well as some perishable food as well, as long as it is properly packaged. AFAC does not take in prepared foods. For Thanksgiving week, AFAC has modified hours for food donation drop offs: Monday & Tuesday - 8:30am to 4:30pm; Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday - 8:30am to 1:00pm. Thursday - Closed. For more information about food donations, visit https://afac.org/food-drive/.
If you have to live in Arlington
Ozlem, we do accept food donations that are prepackaged, unopened, and not expired. You can drop it off at our warehouse Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm or on Saturday between 8:30am and 1:00pm. Thanks! - AFAC
Hi Dee, AFAC provides free groceries to Arlington residents. You can read more about receiving our services here: https://afac.org/getfood/ This page has tabs that include our policies, how to get a referral, what food we give out, and a list of other social services – including a listing of food sources in case you don’t live in Arlington. If you have further questions, please call our Assistant Director of Client Services, Lily Duran, at 571-384-1440.
Una, thank you for thinking of AFAC. Unfortunately this is an item we do not accept as donation items.
1. Government photo id 2. Proof of Arlington residence (lease, utility bill) and 3. Referral from social worker Tuesday hours are 10am to noon, and 7-8pm
I do not believe that you can donate cooked food. They are not set up for this.
Hi, Pam. We don't handle claims. The Arlington Food Assistance Center is a food bank.
Yes you can donate the cake mix!!! Between 8 a.m. & 2 p.m.
You can pick up 🦃 in between now and next Tuesday
There is a door on the left side of the main entrance I believe the donation hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday
I am agree with jack. I think you need the AFAC ID card in order to pick up the food. Also, you can call them in the phone number to find out if there is any possibility to have the food delivered to you. You can try. Good luck. I wish they can delivery the food to the elderly and people with disabilities who can not stop by the food bank to pick up the free food. Let me know if they can deliver, so we spread the word to whom can benefit. Thanks
We gladly accept frozen food as donations, as long as the food is unopened and not expired. You can drop this off to our warehouse Monday through Friday between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm or Saturday between 8:30 am - 1:00pm. Thanks!
