The park is great, lots of green to play and relax, a field, tennis courts, 3 basketball courts, not overly crowded mostly any time I go. You can do any sport you can really think of. The only downside is sometimes the bathrooms are locked so you have to go find others.

The Glenridge Middle School track is cushioned and open to the community. I am not sure of the exact details. Call the school for more info. (407) 623-1415
Not much remains of the former US Navy base. There is an interpretive monument near the flag poles / concession stand that might have information on who to contact to better answer your question.

Cool place for the fitness
So many parking spot in front of the entrance. The park and the neighborhood are so wonderful.
I would think that you could shoot all the pictures you want without getting permission from the city. Yes there are public restrooms at the building between the ball fields and at the dog park
Yes, and clean restrooms.
They do have a protocol definitely call and ask Orlando Parks...
I agree with Margie I think you have to get a permit or rent one of The Pavilions but I have seen bounce houses there before so I know that they are allowed
Walking around the loop at BJP is just over half a mile. If you walk up to Lake Baldwin and back, that's a two mile loop. You can add an additional 2.5 miles by walking around the lake. I generally do the 2 mile loop twice a week and do the 4.5 including the lake once a week. Both routes are very easy. Hope this helps.
