Clean, calm, beautiful. Parking lots are very small... this is a neighborhood park. Possibly you may have to park on a side street.

I've lived in Monterey for 18 years and not known that this Park was there.. I've walked by the entrance at lido Street but never walk down into the park. What a really really nice park.. It is truly an asset to my community and I really feel like it brings the value of my house up.. I decided to get my fishing license and bought a little cheap Pole and was able to catch a catfish today January 31st 2022.. I'll add a photo as soon as I figure out how to with this cheap phone I have LOL.

I would say more of a neighborhood park. A place definitely for the teens to go chill. There was no commotion or trouble. Just overall exerciseing, talking & relaxing.

If you want to separate a gazebo for an event it depends on the amount of people you will have attending. Go to City Parks Reservation. If you are going to enjoy with family it is totally free.
