I was really excited for this place, love the vibe and the menu seemed great (especially all the gluten free options), but I can’t say I was impressed by anything I ordered. Donuts were really dry and not particularly tasty, sandwiches were just ok, but the real disappointment was the coffee. My “cold brew with cream” was white…as if they filled the cup with half and half and spilled a bit of coffee in so I had to throw it out after a few sips that basically tasted like putting a straw in a bottle of half and half. My wife also threw out her cold brew with almond milk that definitely didn’t taste like almond milk. Also 2 medium coffees, 2 sandwiches, and 2 donuts was $50.

I was in Hyde park for Thursday evening and I was looking for a coffee shop where I can have coffee as well as work in the cafe for around an hour. I searched near me and I decided to have coffee and work at Buddy Brew Coffee. I had tried Buddy Brew before so I was confident about buddy brew. Buddy Brew Cafe is an amazing cafe with seating options inside as well as outside with free wifi which is a plus for the cafe. The menu of the buddy brew contains different coffee options along with different types of breads. On the register table I was greeted by the server Elizabeth and from the menu I ordered Cold Brew Float and banana bread. The service was good and I got the cold brew float along with the hot banana bread. First I had a banana bread which was good in taste and seemed to be fresh in taste. Then I had Cold Brew Float which was delicious as well as the gelatin ice cream in the coffee was very well suited. Amazing coffee shop to try in Hyde Park.

Honestly might have been the best mocha cappuccino I’ve ever had. Beautifully made. Great work!
