Nice city park in Gainesville. Wonderful play area for kids and picnic tables, also trails. Our only complaint was we wished they had restroom facilities.

LOVED IT! Will be going back! Took my student's on a field trip here and they had a blast! They have something for everyone, including adults! They have workout equipment! I will definitely be using this as one of my workout areas!!!!

Great little park, wonderful place to see bats, and in summer there are fireflies!!

This is one of the hidden parks in Gainesville close to Sugarfoot Prairie. To get there, head to the south end of SW 40th St. You'll find a small parking area, and a Gainesville Parks sign. The park is very kid friendly, with a sky fort, swings, and a play area. Additionally, there is an outdoor exercise equipment area, a big open field, and a community garden. There's what appears to be a David Hayes sculpture, but it isn't marked with the author's name or numbered. The park is wonderful. Also, there is a connecting pathway/trail to Clear Lake Park (yet another hidden gem in Gainesville).
