I moved to Venice some 8 years ago. In my first few years here I ended up furnishing my entire apartment from Tidewell. My beds, obviously, I purchased new at Macy's; otherwise, everything else came from Tidewell. Their prices are very competitive and I can attest to this since I worked in a consignment store in Austin, Tx. Their prices are hard to beat and they have a nice and accommodating staff. Don't pass up this place. 👍👍

Used to be one of my favorite places. I visited today and much of the furniture and electronics were priced like it was an antique store. Example ..used brown leather like couch 798.00, a used ion turntable which allowed one to turn records into digital recordings 150.00. I had just saw similar turntables same brand at other local shops 25.00 and 14.99, used air popper 20.00. I love the organization but I will be skipping their thrift shop. It's hard enough to make ends meet in this State. Also noticed no one working today even greeted anyone. While there 2 other families mentioned the outrageous pricing and left.

Treasures is truly the best thrift store in our area. For most items, prices are great--especially the clothing. The furniture is wonderful, although some pieces, in my opinion, tend to be priced higher than they should be. But, there's always sales going on even a 50% off on everything, as it was this Saturday. Best of all, all proceeds go to Tidewell Hospice. This store is in the same strip mall as Big Lots in Venice. Truly a hidden gem!!
