Red Light Camera Tickets have been outlawed in the majority of the State Of Florida due to an overwhelming number of Law Suits. However in the City of Green Cove Springs the practice remains active no doubt due to its prosperous high income level with little to no overhead costs to the City unlike having an active Officer on Duty (patrol). Had an Officer been on Duty and witnessed firsthand my particular situation ie. rate of travel (the speed limit), irregular timing of traffic light color changes verse slamming on my breaks skidding to a stop which no doubt would have ended placing me in the middle of the intersection of Orange Ave & SR/US 17. I suppose this would have been a much safer, wiser decision on my part. My hope is that in the near future someone in a high political office receives one of these unjustifiable Notice Of Violation and has the power to stop this injustice.

Can't tell if you are speeding or the person behind you so they give you a ticket I was going 40 in a 35 now I have to pay 215 dollars.... Thanks badge number 1104. ID number 6cpd.. I'd like to know how often she is in a bad mood and gives out these bogus tickets

GCSPD : They are awesome!! In an Emergency, they have the fastest response time, I've ever seen. When it's not a 911call they still come over, to follow up. They are very helpful, kind, & understanding. All of that, On top of being badass. They go above & beyond. Unfortunately, it saddens me in Dec. 2021, right before Christmas. We were informed, our landlord needed to move back in. After we'd been living there for 6 years, we had 30 day's to be out. We are still looking for a home to buy. Seriously, GCSPD we will miss y'all & truly appreciate all of y'all. Thanks again, may God bless each & everyone of you. Thank You
