Depends on what you are fishing for. Try ledges and drop offs or by the Buckman or Shands bridge. Best of luck. Watch the thunderstorms.
I launch there all the time. However, I don't know if they rent pontoon boats at all let alone for 10 people. a quick telephone call to them should answer your question a lot faster than waiting for answers here

Yes. Many of the finger docks and walkways were destroyed but Jon Hamilton is hard at work rebuilding. I think it's going to be better than before!
