The place has become a total dump over the past 25 years. The admission prices for the March race have doubled in that period and the owner (NHRA) has invested nothing into the spectator areas. The bathrooms are disgusting, the food vendors (carnival and fair merchants) charge an outrageous amount for their product ($7 for a hamburger for starters) to folk who don't bring their own food, and although the parking lot is much better than it was back in the early days, it still floods. After attending nearly every year since the 80s, we stopped going following the 2020 event.

Honestly the best way is to use Google maps and key in key words like hotel by highway or budget hotels near _______! Google maps can help better in these situations.
This Friday night from 7-11 we have test & tune. And Saturday night we have midnight madness from 5-11. These times can change depending on car count. Go to GainesvilleRaceway.com and you will find the track schedule.
It depends on the event. Some smaller events and test & tune sessions will allow you to park in the pits. For large events like Gatornationals you park out front of the track or down along the side of the track. There's a few places within the side parking area that you can see the cars running. Parking out front is long strips of grass with pavement in between. There are multiple spots in the front of the main parking area for disabled parking. HTH
I would suggest calling ahead. At the larger events they may have golf carts or scooters for rent. Handicapped parking is fairly close to the gate but fills up very quickly. The bleachers have ramps and spaces for wheel chairs and the bathrooms are Handicapped accessible.

Who can race there? And can we race a street car ( stock)? When can we race?

Look on the website. They have Test N Tune nights where you can take any car down the track for $25. You usually get as many runs as you want if it isn't super busy that night. For drivers, just bring $25 cash, a pen for filling out the short paperwork, long pants, any shirt with sleeves (T-shirt) and if you are going to be running any time faster than 11 seconds, you'll need a helmet. If your car is stock, I doubt you will be pulling a 10.99.
Be sure to bring you some good earplugs because when the big boy start running it'll blast your ears I have been attending for the past 12 years and there is no charge for General parking
What are you allowed to bring to the track, it coolers and drinks?
