I went to the pool, with my SUMMER PASS, on Sunday 07/31/22 at 1pm only to find out that it was closed for a "special birthday party"! (According to the schedule, the pool must be open for public access from 1pm to 4pm). Was it the owner (city) or the operator (YMCA) who did that?! Why not hold your private events outside of the scheduled hours, which are very few anyway?

This pool is a great community resource. Unfortunately, the scheduled posted is not entirely correct on a day by day basis. If it changes it should be posted on their "hotline" that is intended for updates rather than just a verbal schedule.

Ok. But, there is also a Public Pool at Solomon Calhoun Center, 1300 Duval St. That is open daily for sure. Good Luck!
