Our trip to Bayfront Marin did not meet the expectations that my husband and I viewed online. There was no jacuzzi tub, when we took a shower the water flooded the entire floor. We viewed pics online of the pool that we did not see. The happy hour food was not happy! Definitely sad, it was 2 miniature caprese skewers. Our seating outside? Wet cushions, we had to borrow our neighbors chairs for a few moments. I don't know what was $300+ a night ...but that was not the place to be. Small fridge which scraped the ground when you opened it. Only nice thing was the view in the courtyard... Suggestions: Make sure the bathroom drain is clear, offer better happy hour food (snacks), let guest know where the pool is located. Create a better parking area for your guests. Pics are definitely misleading, I should have taken video... Sorry, definitely not returning. Onward to Marriot.

Highly recommend the Bayfront Marin House. The location is walking distance to everything downtown including the shops on St. George street. The outdoor space is perfect for enjoying your breakfast complete with views of the bay. Everything was nice, clean and quiet. We'll be back with our dog next time!

The place is very charming but the level of service and accoutrements is seriously lacking for the price. They suggest that the reduced level of service such as cleaning rooms, robes being available but only by request noted in the small print on a letter left in the room, no luggage carts and similar small but meaningful niceties one would expect in accommodations at this price point have been eliminated due to Covid. The fan in the bedroom was filthy to the degree it had 1/4'' of dust and dirt on it. There was no control over room temp and even after asking on several occasions the room temp remained at below 70 degrees - Having AC is better than sweltering in the hot humid climate but was uncomfortable and again suggested more concern with expense control over guest comfort that could be adjusted to their individual needs. The staff with who we interacted (on room delivery of evening snacks and breakfast items) were all pleasant and seemed accommodating. I see this reduction of service in the industry as a whole based allegedly on "Covid" concerns but it suggests more a reduction of expenses at the expense of the guest! All this being said we would probably return if inclined to return to this location because it was a nice location but the operators need to be more mindful of their guests experience in general.

Their Marie Antoinette and King George rooms are my absolute favorite! They both feature double Jacuzzis & are located on the front of the house including the best bay view's. Not to mention a private balcony area off of your room.

We have 15 rooms, most with water views of the Matanzas Bay. Rooms have all been recently renovated, and are stylish and luxurious.

Do you have accommodation for a handicap scooter?

Yes. Our Napoleon Suite is the most accessible room. It has a roll in shower (which can be outfitted with a medical bench with advance notice), roll under sink, and tilting mirror. There is room for the scooter inside the room. There is a ramp from the patio in front of the Napoleon Suite and into the dining room. Some scooters are longer than others--if you have any specific questions, let us know, and we'll be happy to check for you!
