I attended The Wild Women Retreat as my first experience at Little Buffalo, and I can't to return with my kiddos. I keep hearing the pool is really nice. My experience included kayaking lessons and a nature hike through the woods. The lessons were thorough and well-done, and I feel like if I had to kayak, I could do it now. We even saw bald eagles and turtles on the lake during the class. I definitely want to come back to this hidden gem!

Beautiful park! Took a day trip with my parents to go hiking. Very easy to navigate. Good bathrooms. The trails were clearly marked and matched the level of difficulty. The grist mill was a lot of fun to see and I highly recommend stopping by to hear more about it from the staff.

Great place to walk and explore nature. Looking forward to seeing more of the park and its trails as the weather gets warmer.

We camped at Little Buffalo SP campground in Sept 2021 in site 40. It had room for our tent, was nicely separate from other sites, had good cell service and was just a short walk to the bath house which was new and very clean. This is the …

Yes, the park is open today, but I don't know when it closes

Leashed and cleaned up after. Campground is dog friendly in all sites.
Not sure what fits in the campground. However folks do have campers there.
The main pool will be closed this Sunday June 6th but the splash ground will be open from 11am to 7pm. It is a $4 entry fee. As far as I know picnic area is open.
They say that the pool is open. But not positive on that
No. You can night fish along the road, but park closes at dusk.
If your referring to little buffaloe game farm I believe so!
All hiking trails in Little Buffalo State Park are open for cross-country skiing, but skiing is recommended on Little Buffalo Creek Trail. A 2.5-mile loop can be skied by taking Little Buffalo Creek Trail to Main Picnic Area, then ski the Newport and Sherman’s Valley Railroad trace. Return to Little Buffalo Creek Trail along the edge of woods. A popular loop in East Picnic Area starts in the parking lot and follows the path to Clay’s Covered Bridge. The trail passes Shoaff’s Mill then returns to the starting point on either Mill Race Trail or the shorter service road. Skiing is also permitted on service roads and unplowed roads in the day use area.
No cabins that I'm aware of here, just has picnic tables with grills.
Cant say but its low right now. Will need a life jacket
Mr.Dellinger you might be able to call the office and ask. The lake is beautiful
Not positive but I believe it is at the most $5 children younger are cheaper i suggest you call the park office
Free. When the pool is open there is admission, and boat rentals cost money, but just enjoying nature in the park is free!
Park closes at sundown, so no. But right now sundown is pretty late...hike until sundown. I would avoid being on the more difficult trails, Middle Ridge and Buffalo Ridge trails, at dusk, since they are rocky and you need to watch carefully as you walk.
That I am not sure of. You might want to try and call the office. Sorry I couldn't help.
Some parks you can and others you cannot. Contact the park office directly for the answer.
Best to make reservation in advance. You can make reservations easily on the PA State Park website. Site has photos of each campsite, campground maps, etc.
No. Only water.
Not that I know of.....it is a state park so I doubt it.
by the edges that's where the big ones have been caught. You can rent a boat there too.
You can bring your own device/ no gas powered, just electric or oars. You can call the office before making your trip.
If I remember correctly, it's $15 for an hour.
Yes
I believe it is $7 per person before 4pm, and after 4 PM it is $5.
Depends on the type of camping you are doing. Tent camping is about 35 dollars tho.
Contact the park for specific season end and start times and dates
Yes the lake work is complete
Drive through the main entrance and you will eventually see it on the left hand side.
Memorial to labor day weekend
I believe so. I may be wrong.
No, trolling motors only. Since they have drained the lake to terraform the bottom deeper, that area boats can typically go, are just thick sticky mud or VERY shallow water. Kayaks r your best bet.
It is 6 dollars per admission, if i remember correctly. Under 2 is free. This was for 2017 year.
Yes
December 17 6 to 9 pm for the Christmas lights walk
Not sure with the season changing.
We are the campground hosts and have seen golf carts here. Be advised that most of the campground is gravel.
I don't think so.
