I have purchased two Porsche Cayenne’s from Suncoast Porsche (one in 2017 and another in 2021). They were not new but they were CPO. My salesperson both times was Tom Towle and it was a great experience both times. Unfortunately, I have been having difficulty with their service department advisors. Usually they are pretty responsive but I understand people are busy and I believe I have been very patient. I reached out to my service advisor via phone on 8/2 regarding an issue with my front passenger side seatbelt issue and a rattle from the gas tank that Porsche hasn’t released a fix for since the service bulletin they released on April 13, 2020. The gas tank rattle is not critical, the car still works fine. But I would like the seatbelt issue resolved. I called again on 8/4 for my advisor after not receiving a response and he called back shortly after requesting I send photos and other information to see if they can diagnose the issue without bring the vehicle in. I sent the photos (and a video) on 8/4 as requested. I sent an email on 8/6, which was a Saturday, to confirm receipt of the 8/4 email. I didn’t expect a response until Monday or Tuesday the following week from my service advisor since it was the weekend. I didn’t hear anything on Monday or Tuesday the following week, so I called and left a voicemail on 8/9 with my service advisor expressing my frustration. I finally called again on 8/11 after not getting a response via phone or email and requested to speak to the service manager. I expressed my frustration in the voicemail and he (Derek) immediately called me back. He apologized and told me my service advisor would contact me back which he did via email. I responded to my service advisor asking what’s the next step and he responded the next day stating it needs to come in to be diagnosed. I asked when could it be scheduled, it is now 8/17 with no scheduled visit. It has been over 2 weeks to try to schedule an issue with my seatbelt, a potential safety-related issue, and I am finally frustrated enough to leave a review. I am going to look at another dealer in St. Pete to see if they care to resolve a possible safety issue in a timely fashion. I am just sharing my experience and your experience may vary.
