While I have lived in Fairbanks alaska for many years, Access Alaska has helped me so many times. Years ago they had an Epilepsy support group that I went to and got lots of help from. Even better was the free taxi rides since I can't drive. Not 100% know if it still happens but it was extremely helpful. Every year they help me reevaluate my insurance to make sure I get the best plan and that my extremely expensive medications are covered. I would be at a lost with out their help with that. They let me borrow a shower chair when I got hurt. The employees are great and kind.

It is closed indefinitely someone came down with virus since no one was allowed in before this. So if the testing at Fairview rec center across the street, how did this happen. And when will Google maps catch up with the rest of the world.

Very helpful and kind. I’ve never been there before, They were efficient and caring. I very much appreciated being able to go there and have my needs met.

I became injured while visiting Anchorage and required a wheelchair in order to do anything other than sit in a hotel room. Even though I was just a tourist, Access Alaska allowed me to use one of their wheelchairs for a few days free of charge. Thank you Access Alaska!

I'd love to give you an answer but many situations are unique. So what I'd recommend is call 248-4777 and ask to speak with Mike Friend who is intake and referral specialist.

Call the office and ask for the HR department. Situations change and HR is the only way to get an interview. You can also check out the website and apply online.
