My friend desperately need food because she had literally nothing but eat at her house and was trying to hide it because she was embarrassed to let anyone know how sick she really is! Nobody should ever go hungry and I'm so thankful to all of you! Love the garden too with all those fresh veggies!❤🙏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

At the start of the COVID 19 pandemic. I was forced to use Lutheran Social Services for rental assistance and food. Great program and a wonderful group of people. My prayers go out to the men and women who put forth the time and effort in genuinely helping solve Anchorage s social and homeless problem.

I haven't been to this food bank in bout 5 yrs and I was quit sad. To see that they had take away where u get to pick ur own food that u can eat. I wish they would have both options where u can eaither pick out ur own food or get a box togo for familys w allergies and little kids. But was pleased w the fact that the time spend there wasn't nearly aslong as it used to be. I also was quit happy w the fact that they had a clothing rack w clothes aswell for those who needed clothes. The workers there were very nice unlike some of guest. I also like that if u need to u can goto the food bank weekly now due to the pemdemic, but I would say more due to the high food prices. Other than those few issues I quit liked it and can't wait to see what other improvements they do w it.
