The SVRA event is a lot of fun, and can be a nice introduction to the track before attending the 12-hour. You can wander almost anywhere around the paddock, pits, and terrace. The Trans-Am series also runs that weekend, so you can enjoy both classic cars trying to set good laps, and more aggressive driving from the TA cars.
Not yet. And you are right it is a rough track . As far as a repaving never going to happen. I've worked there 5 years and love everything about it it is the best track to me

Q: What about camping at the track?
A: Tent camping is included as part of the ticket price. RV parking passes do not include admission. Vehicle parking passes are additional.
When do the tickets that you ordered arrive? I haven't gotten my tickets yet and I ordered them since October.
Think you are gonna need an RV parking pass and your tickets. Unless you reserve a front stretch rv spot. I think they come with 4 tickets. But for that you usually have to wait for someone to die then be chosen in the lottery for the spot.
Is there parking for motorcycles and how much for the 12 hr event?

There are many hotels available in the city of Sebring. Hilton and Marriott both have properties around. It is about a 15 minute drive from the track. There is one at the track called The Seven Hotel.

If you're asking about High Performance Drivers Education. Every club has their own set of rules. I am an instructor and run mostly with Suncoast region of Porsche Club Of America, but have run other regions, plus Porsche BMW Owners Club, and Chin. But are pretty similar. You are started out with classroom instruction the an instructor is assigned to you and they are in your car the whole time. It's 99% about the driver, not the car. It's very regulated with an emphasis on safety. This isn't something you bring your car to the track wnd start driving. I recommend you go to Suncoastpca.com or Google HPDE and you should get some good info. Hope this helps.
Mayne at some other event during the year but not during race week. There are Car Corrals that used to be able to go on the track for a lap. They had a BMW, Porshe and Corvette kind da parade lap in your own car.
There's showers there,. But I've never used them and don't know what the process or access is like. This information was verified by the FAQ on their web site.
