Just made third attempt to change party affiliation. Every time I fill out the form I get a card in the mail with the same party I changed. Then I get a letter from them telling me that my voter registration is being suspended because I don't live at the address they just sent the letter too.

How is it possible to make an intelligent decision on which school board member, county commissioner and judge to vote for when information is almost nonexistent? I don't want to vote based on limited knowledge to none of a candidate.

James Guth, thanks for attempting to answer my question. By looking at someone's Fakebook page or their website doesn't give me a clear picture of a candidate. It just tells me what that person wants me to see about them. What I am looking for is more in depth information. I wouldn't expect a political candidate to post negative things about themselves on their own website. And today's political commercials are nothing but mudslinging. It's hard to tell what's true and what's just fake news. I was just looking for true unbiased information. Nothing more, nothing less.

I will be out of state during the primary election 2018--when do I phone the polk co supervisor of elections to get an absentee ballot mailed to my summer address?
