Ask for Susan, if possible. She was helpful and friendly. She explained exactly what I needed to do to get my license transferred. I was very nervous after reading reviews, but Susan proved to be an exception!

WTH, this is so unprofessional, don't work for NCDPI, the pay is insulting and the service, they don't have a live specialist to answer your questions regardless of pandemic

No licensure specialists exist. They will not answer the line in the order in which calls are received because they do not exist.

Applied for my licence on 10/19 and it is now three months later after they accepted my money and still NOTHING. Customer Service needs drastic improvement.

A lot of staff members arrive there earlier than 7:30 but I believe the capitol police open the doors at 8am. Generally you can get somebody on the phone earlier if needed.

North Carolina does not require a test to obtain a license in Birth through Kindergarten. She will need to apply online and submit required documentation of completion of an out of state educator Program. The introduction page within the application details what is required. Go to www.ncpublicschools.org/licensure
