They like to pretend like they didn't get your payment and try to charge you an absurd amount (somewhere around 200-300 dollars late fee) So I took video evidence dropping off my payment at their door and they tried to say they didn't get it AGAIN. That late fee disappeared real quick when I told them I had video evidence. Customer service is poor and attitudes are terrible. Scummy business going on here.

As far as their cell phone service goes...if you choose them get ready to pay for their unlimited data since the network of Xfinity hotspots they advertise are hard to connect to as a supplement to Wi-Fi. The price for mobile cell service ends up being comparable to the major carriers. Also, despite numerous people from Xfinity coming out to look at burying the cable in the pictures, and the gas/electric companies coming out twice marking up our yard, the cable has yet to be buried! I’ve called them numerous times about this. Their automated call system is good to identify why I’m calling, “if you are calling about burying your cable...”. The couple of times I have gotten through to a live person I have been given promises and assurances of “expediting my service request”. This has been going on for four months now! It’s the epitome of inefficiency and what happens when a monopoly business is permitted by the FCC.

Without a doubt Xfinity is the way to go I have used them since moving to Blacksburg and it has been an absolute pleasure to be a customer... any type of service needed they were very quick to respond to fix the problem or if I just had a simple question that I did not understand about using the remote and some of the new features all answered very quickly and professionally
