Workers are nice but I definitely don't recommend taking the driving test at this specific dmv the roads are terrible and the lines like bike lanes for example are extremely faded and hard to see.

You go to Google and search california state jobs. Go on search bar and type dmv and it should show you different locations of dmv locations. The most important thing for you to remember is that in order to apply for the Dmv, you have to take an exam. So next thing is to see if california is offering the exams for this particular job, the exam is not always open. Search through the website And search open exams. Best wishes

You will need proof of driver's education, Social security, and birth certificate for a U.S. citizen, or just Driver's Education and proof that you live in the U.S. I was asked to bring this when I went mid-April 2018. Wait time is 5 hours for the written test IF you don't have an appointment, which I recommend you do.

You do not take an appointment for the written exam, but if you have ,a much better one in case there are many people waiting, and the driving test they give you your appointment when you pass the written exam. I live in Bakersfield and I prefer to go to Arvin they are friendlier there and there are usually hardly any long waiting lines.
