Updated and beautiful resort. They have done a lot to make improvements. Lovely area. A great place to bring a family - pool is very fun and a great area to hike and golf. It is very very expensive so be prepared to pay a lot for everything but the pool is free! Service is truly outstanding - every single person delivered wonderful service.

We had to cut our stay two days short because we had mice in our room the entire time we were there. When we brought this to the attention of the hotel the first day they came and removed the mouse and simply said sorry. The second day when another mouse showed up at 4am we were done. When we asked to be moved they said they did not have another room but maybe one would free up later in the day and that they would comp our parking. We were floored at their response. Our room was $1,700 a night and this was the level of service received. They couldn’t catch the second mouse and there was no way we were spending another minute in that room. When we went to check out (two days earlier than planned) we asked them to do something to make this right (thinking they would comp our entire stay since they couldn’t catch the mouse or move our room) they only offered to comp one of our two nights. They also offered for us to come back for a two night stay in the future…I don’t think so after this experience. We are completely shocked that a hotel at this level did not make this right not to mention that they had mice running around the hotel rooms!!!! Our family Fourth of July celebration that we had been planning was ruined and we spent today driving 4.5 hours back home. Still in shock.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Homestead resort. The food was better this time than our last time there a few years ago. The golf courses are in perfect condition. Not a blade of grass out of place. Going back in July with a group of friends for golf, dinner and dancing.

Beautiful resort with TONS of history. The staff is friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. Several dinning and bar options on site as well as activities for your whole family; golf, falconry, horse back riding, skeet shooting, hiking and many more. If the spa is more your speed, they have a full service spa with heated pools and a mineral bath. All of these great amenities come at a price as The Homestead is on the very expensive side. Bring some extra cash so you can tip their wonderful staff as they help you throughout your stay. But with the panoramic views of the mountains, wonderful staff and all of the activities; you should give The Homestead a visit.

Sorry Scott, but due to the weather, we are only able to ski from mid to late December through the end of February or early March. However, we have a wide variety of outdoor activities available throughout the year such as fly fishing, falconry, zip line tour, sporting clays and kayaking.
