Veterans park is cleaner than most and it's got an open restroom unlike the other parks around the area. Osbourn's restrooms were tore down because of the homeless people that would use them and mind you I'm one of those homeless, and then Winton park you can brave the Porta Potty that's there, when there's restrooms there but are locked most of the time. The homeless people that don't cause problems, are the ones that are having to pay for the mistakes of those that cause problems or mess things up and don't clean up after themselves. I was taught to clean up after myself and to be respectful to people no matter who they are. Veterans park used to be for the military 🪖🎖️ only, and they took care of all of us people should do the same thing for the park.

We drive here from Merced because it's the only working splash pad playground. The bathrooms are usually clean, lots of shaded tables and shaded parking. Unlike other cities, this splash pad operates all hours, so you can cool off anytime as long as the sun is up. This is great during the week for working parents.
