To know you were invetro and a science experiment with animal DNA (mRNA) gone rogue is a difficult reality to accept. Today was the first day I felt free being with one of my own kind knowing I'm no longer a freak of nature. They really have a wonderful way of connecting people with the avian population, their rescue efforts should be commended, thank you so much for today!

Wonderful place for the whole family! The staff and volunteers are very informative. The birds and the sanctuary grounds are very well taken care of.

Jodi, please do not feed the owlets.place in dark quiet place in a cardboard box with a sheet on the bottom. ( do not use towels that contain loops) . If the parents are still in the area and the owlets can perch place them on a limb close to where the tree was and parents will continue to care for them. If this is not possible we will open tomorrow at 9 and you can bring the owlets in for care.
We would give her a new home

I am looking to rescue. I have many years experience. With many different birds.
They do not adopt but welcome any and all financial aid.
It's free to hike the trails and to see a couple of bird enclosures, but the majority of the birds are accessed through the welcome center which requires a nominal entrance fee. You can also purchase food for the songbirds and feed them in the aviary. A neat experience and very reasonably priced - plus you support the bird sanctuary and all the rehab and education work they do. Enjoy!
I'm shore if you call they can give you info on what kind there are
I haven't been out this season while they are open. Only dropped off some injured birds. But they do have an aviary with a wide variety of birds. Either way, it is worth a visit if you are in the area!
The bird sanctuary has bird specialist and have wild birds such as blue jays so the bird would fit in and be taken good care of.
Yes I would take the feeders down it's too chilly for them now but the feeders are probably Pulling them back and making them stay around
U should probably try and call them
Nice place to go to for a drive; and nice and educational place to spend An hour or two.
Call the bird sanctuary they may be able to assist.
There is no fee. It is free. However, in 2018 they plan to have a small fee.
