I stayed for 5 days, I really liked the owner who gave me 5 dollars for a bus when I left, I didn't even ask him for money. Rooms were clean and quiet. 60 bucks a night was worth it, I definitely recommend this motel.

Cute and clean little place. Owner is friendly and full of info on what to do around town. Rooms are comfortable and cozy, and you can't beat the price. Planning on staying there again when visiting Wheeling!

Can not explain the positive reviews; perhaps interactions with the friendly owner override guests’ room evaluations. He is indeed friendly and accommodating, but the property is getting away from him: poorly maintained, unclean, a little unsafe. Rents rooms by the week or longer, which definitely changes the vibe.
