The Highland Suite was absolutely lovely. I have stayed at a lot of B&B's, and this was one of my favorites. The accommodations were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The delicious breakfast was left in our room for us to enjoy any time we wanted. Just a short drive to New Paltz and their rates were very reasonable for such wonderful accommodations. And the cows were an extra special treat. I have already recommended Brookfield B&B to friends that are looking for a private retreat.

The hosts were great, easily reachable by phone or email. They were very flexible with our arrival time, even after I changed it like 3 times! And they provided great recommendations for a nice dinner for my wife's birthday. The property was beautiful, and the room was perfect, just the getaway that I was looking for for my wife's birthday. And the highland cattle were so cute and interesting to watch. And they provided a nice breakfast for us in the fridge, delicious and just the right amount of food. And great central location to all the wineries on the Shawangunk Wine Trail, and a quick drive to New Paltz as well. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quick but relaxing getaway from NYC / Westchester.

This place is awesome! Went for the weekend with friends and we had a great time. Got to meet lots of cool animals including the 3 Highland Cattle and numerous chickens, all of whom were friendly and welcoming. Their humans (Caroline and Mike) were great as well, as were the homemade treats left for us . Hope to be back soon.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience staying at Brookfield Farm! My best friend and I had a girls overnight trip to get back into nature and relax away from the hustle bustle of our jobs. The space is immaculate! Everything you could want is provided and so very thoughtfully placed. The suite is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast food choices are well planned and they even thought of to go coffee cups to take along for a stroll around the land or for your ride home. The grounds are beautiful and the cows and chickens are amazing! The Murphy family are incredible hosts and we felt so taken care of from start to finish. I will be coming back for sure!
