They've done some alteration work on some of my suits. I would take the dress to them and make sure there's no problem with the material.
They do some alterations and offer hemming service. I think if you're looking for someone to make you a dress, that may be too much. Can't hurt to ask.
They do rugs here. Cleaned some for us last year.
