Amazing staff amazing food

We had a real bad experience at this restaurant last Friday. We were visiting Lake county wine country from out of State & stopped by the restaurant for lunch on August 26th. The restaurant looks nice but the serving staff is nowhere close to the mark. We opted to sit inside rather than the patio & asked for a table close to the window for the lake view. There were 3 open tables close to windows but the hostess refused to sit us down on those tables as we were a party of two & the tables were for 4. This was around 1 PM, but the hostess insisted they will get busier so have to save tables for parties of 4. Those tables went unoccupied all the time we were there. Anyways, the worst was till to come. We took the table she gave us right next to the entrance & cashiers desk. As we sat down I noticed the table was not clean, I pointed it out to the hostess but she insisted it was clean. We were visiting from out of state so I did not want to make a fuss, so I cleaned the table myself with the napkin’s she gave us with silverware right in front of her. She did not flinch or offer to clean it again. No support whatsoever. At this point we should have walked out, but we stayed. Big mistake. We ordered our food from their daily special menu & a local draft beer. By the time I got back to hotel room, I got diarrhea & was sick all that evening. Never again to a place where waiting staff is giving me hints to not eat there.

My favorite lunch on the lake. Great food and great service. Beautiful outdoor seating and view of lake.
