It was a decent experience. My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and I was slightly disappointed by the brewery like feel. The greeters at the door were friendly. We ate in the "restaurant", you can't order wine from your table even though the bar is right there you have to walk up to the bar and wait for a drink while dining. I had the spaghetti which was pretty runny but ok. We also ordered a charcuterie board which was a LOT different than the website picture showed. It was basically some cheap walmart meats cheese and nuts thrown together for $20. My husband doesn't drink but I did the wine tasting and thought $8 is a good price for 10 tastings but the employee wasn't the friendliest and was stretched a little thin so I had to wait awhile between glasses. 4 stars just because I loved the wine. It wasn't a terrible experience but not the best either.

Wine was subpar and the service that was received by my party of 10 made to of them not drink at all. The server Mike wasn't listening to us as customer it was his way or the highway. I would have enjoyed myself a lot better if he could of listened to what we as customer were saying and not just assumed things. He also was not looking at on of our group members when he was talking after explaining multiple time that she was hard of hearing and she reads lip he still talked with his back too us. To summarize it ok wine but need people who can service and like to do it.

Sweet wines, tasty spirits, and a stellar staff - who could ask for more?? This may have been one of the best places my sister and I stopped at on a recent road trip. The prices for the tastings were incredibly fair and you get a bunch - I can't remember how many, but between my sister and I we tasted nearly the whole assortment! I don't think I tasted a wine that wasn't phenomenal either! I would especially recommend this place if you are not a big fan of dry wines - they had an exceptionally wide assortment of sweet options. My favorite wine had to be the Mon Cheri, which was so caramelly and rich, it transcends wine into something beyond. I did take home a bottle. My sister loved the blueberry and blackberry wine. While you are there, don't forget to taste the spirits as well for $2 a taste (limited tastes, so choose wisely). A whole bottle is expensive, so I enjoyed paying a few bucks for a taste of something I couldn't usually get! I ordered a Pecan Old Fashioned as well, which I would rate 10/5 stars if Google allowed. The bartenders were also wonderful - fast yet attentive, and always ready with the wine facts and stories! A must stop in Baden Springs.

This pizza is called the BRONX. Very fresh ingredients especially the mushrooms they were not chewy they was very fresh. Plenty of mozzarella cheese that is for sure. The sauce was pretty sweet , I like a good Italian tanginess. I had a nice glass of white wine that paired well with this pie. The dough was a little bit chewy but I could tell it was fresh and homemade. It had a nice undercarriage could have stayed in just another minute or two. It looked like some pretty amazing other pizzas pastas breads very well done.

Hi Michelle, Thanks for your question. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, we were under a Flash Flood Warning and Watch as the towns of French Lick and West Baden Springs do deal with excessive flooding whenever it rains heavily. When this happens, our parking lot could potentially flood as can all of the roads around us. Because we are in a rural area, we have our employees to consider, also. Around 5pm we began getting reports of roads being washed out and wanted to be mindful of their safety while travelling home in the dark. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. We were back to normal business hours the following day and proceeding with business as usual this week.
Hi James, I'm sorry we are just now responding to this! Unfortunately, at this time Kentucky's alcohol shipping laws do not allow outside wineries to be shipped into their state. :( If that changes I will post back here and let you know!
We are open our regular hours this weekend. Friday - Saturday, 11am - 9pm, Sunday 11am - 5pm. Wine & spirits tasting, sales, and our restaurant is open as well. Come see us! Christmas eve we will be open for wine sales only. Our tasting bar and restaurant will be closed. We are closed Christmas day but will return to regular business hours after that!
You can find a variety of our wines at Meijer, Penguin Liquors, WalMart, Target, Bedrock Liquors, and Village Bottle Shoppe, to name a few options. Thanks!
Dependant upon the season, we offer up to 30 varieties of wine ranging from sweet to dry, fortified to sparkling. You can go to our website and check out all our available wines at www.frenchlickwinery.com. Thanks!
My wife and I were there two weeks ago. They allowed us to have our dog with us within the front patio area.
Very close and I highly recommend it. If your staying at French Lick resort or West Baden the trolly will take you there and pick you up
We don't serve wine slushies, but we do serve an array of cocktails featuring our wine and spirits.
The water is all gone, the winery is open
Yes absolutely! Just have a small bar for tasting where kids can't walk up to. We took our whole family with 9 kids.
It's all one area. Children can dine too
