Awesome experience. The wines are very good. My wife and I have tried over 230 different varietals and while speaking to Bettina the owner we mentioned we saw they had the Teroldego which was not yet release. She said no problem and ran up to the winery to get two bottles. One to taste and one for us to buy. It was incredible!!!

Stopped at this fabulous winery during my annual girls trip. Bettina, the owner, and her staff were amazing! They were welcoming, helpful, friendly & hilarious. All of the guests who my friends and I came in contact with, were all kind and engaging which shows the spirit of Linconville. Beautiful panoramic views of the vineyard and the main building makes this a spectacular venue.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Cellardoor during our holiday to Camden. Beautiful scenery overlooking the mountains while sipping some rose! The staff was very friendly and were more than accommodating to our dog (she loved the buddy biscuits). Felt safe during COVID 19 - reservation only seating was socially distanced very well outside, and I saw them disinfect railings/door knobs. Self guided wine tasting was fun and reasonably priced.

Outstanding establishment! This winery is definitely off the beaten path but well worth the visit. The tasting area is rustic and gorgeous. There is also a nice patio overlooking the vineyard and the rolling Maine hills off in the distance. The tastings are mostly complimentary and prices for food and additional glasses of wine are quite reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit here!

Hi Annette, we’re currently open daily for tastings with tours available Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Please check our website mainewine.com for current hours as we scale back as the season slows; we’re typically closed January - April. However, if we are closed and you’d like to visit, give us a couple days notice, we’ll do our best to accommodate a tasting! Our Portland location is open year round, Wednesday - Sunday.

We are heading to Lincolnville to celebrate my 60th birthday this weekend...is there a good time to stop in for a tasting and tour? Do I need to reserve?

Deborah Lambert | Apr 29, 2020
Connie Linhart | Apr 30, 2020

Last year they had one daily guided tour around 2pm I think. It is well worth while. We did not make reservations in advance. But if you are a group larger than 4 you should probably call ahead. The place is lovely.

John McCoy | Apr 30, 2019

Hello John, Our Lincolnville property is dog friendly. It is a 68 acre farm with lots of areas for walking with your dog. Our interior tasting room licensing only allows service dogs but we have two exterior porches where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the company of your dog. People often bring their dogs. Bettina

Do you have fruit wine?

Nancy Stockwell | Apr 30, 2019
Cellardoor Winery (Owner) | May 1, 2019

Hello Nancy, We have one dessert wine made with blueberries (and maple syrup). All our other wines are made with grapes. Please let us know if you have other questions. Bettina

My cousin just gave me a bottle of your wine "Serendipity" … white wine with maple syrup… she said she thinks it's maybe EIGHT years old? I thought I'd ask before I opened it… is it a wine that will get better with age? Thanks!

Veronica Clark | Apr 30, 2019
Cellardoor Winery (Owner) | May 1, 2019

Hello Veronica, Serendipity isn't meant to be aged more than a couple of years. Depending on how it has been stored, it should be fine and still a great dessert wine. Put a good chill on it and give it a try. Remember, wine does not "go bad" in the same way food does. It may not be drinking at its best but it will not make you sick as it moves past its peak. Worth trying. Cheers, Bettina
